What This Warranty Policy Covers
Kay Pee Transformers Pvt. Ltd. stands behind every transformer manufacturer India product. This Warranty Policy explains coverage for all transformers manufactured at our Kim, Surat facility. First, we guarantee 12 months protection from the dispatch date. Next, it covers manufacturing defects only. As a result, you enjoy worry-free operation of all transformer india units.
This policy applies to all Kay Pee transformers including power transformers, LT transformers, control transformers, and inverter duty transformers.
1. Warranty Duration and Start Date
Standard Coverage Period
12 months full warranty begins on dispatch date from Kim, Surat factory.
Examples:
Distribution Transformer (10kVA): Dispatched Jan 25, 2026 → Warranty until Jan 25, 2027
Power Transformer (5MVA): Dispatched Feb 10, 2026 → Warranty until Feb 10, 2027
Extended Warranty Available: Purchase AMC services for coverage beyond 12 months.
2. What Warranty Covers
Manufacturing Defects Protected
Our warranty fully covers defects from factory production:
Core Components:
- Copper windings manufacturing faults
- ONAN cooling system failures
- tap switch malfunctions (±5-10% adjustment)
- Oil leaks from factory assembly
- Core lamination defects
Performance Guarantees:
- Dyn11 vector group connection failures
- Voltage regulation issues within specs
- No-load/current abnormalities
3. Free Warranty Services Provided
What We Fix At No Cost
During 12-month period, Kay Pee provides completely free:
Repair Services:
- Full disassembly at Kim, Surat facility
- Replace defective copper windings
- Refurbish ONAN cooling radiators
- Recalibrate taps switch
Replacement:
- New transformer if repair not feasible
- Same specifications as original order
- BIS IS 1180/IS 2026 certification maintained
Transport (Gujarat only):
- Pick-up from your Surat-area site
- Return delivery after repair
